Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid: Teresa Helbig presented 'Knot Gardens' referencing nature & artificial
Today on the third day of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid (runs until 11 July, calendar), Barcelona-based award winning (L'Oreal Paris Prize,...) designer Teresa Helbig presented the new women's collection 'Knot Gardens' paying tribute to the interweaving of nature and the artificial such as introduced at mbfwmadrid.ifema.es. Earthy colors and tones of green leaves are dominating the outfits made of exclusive fabrics with three-dimensional applications and structures of the collection's signature knots such as on view at the image right showing a long-sleeve short dress made of a metallic chain-cloth bejewelled with water pearl-like shimmering elements. Extraordinary materials are mentioned by Teresa Helbig in interviews which are already published by media such as Glamour where especially the long kimono - one of Knot Gardens' key items, is presented as one of the pieces to fall in love with.

One of the highlights of the upcoming MBFWMadrid shows (live stream via mbfwmadrid.ifema.es) is scheduled on 10 July; the collection 'Oliva - ECOfashion Project by Ecoembes' by designer Juanjo Oliva's brand 'Oliva' in collaboration with the Spanish organization Ecoembes (dedicated to the protection of the environment and recycling of packaging) is mainly made from plastic bottles (PET) and addresses the circularity of economy.
