Textile prints SS2015 at Tokyo Fashion Week
Since yesterday 13th October 2014, the new Spring/Summer 2015 looks are on show at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo. Fashionoffice selected three dresses which impress with their prints.
The first item which is on view on this page is Dresscamp's short dress with voluminous sleeves (fig. right). The dress with comic-like print received already attention by the women's magazine Her World with a posting on Facebook; the magazine publishes the article 'Fabulous good-girl-gone-bad fun' on Her World's website about the new Dresscamp SS15 collection, the runway event and the outfit of a prominent guest from the fashion world.
Other great prints were shown by Hanae Mori designed by Yu Amatsu (image below left, the flower-sunshine print evokes a trompe-l'oeil effect of a scarf that is wrapped around the shoulder) and Ritsuko Shirahama (picture below right, the fresh-clean geometrical pattern of the dress and umbrella-wide hat make think of a garden party on a hot and sunny day).
At this time (checked today on 14 Oct 2014, afternoon), the videos from the shows of Hanae Mori designed by Yu Amatsu and Dresscamp are already published on the website of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Tokyo; the next in the row is the runway video of Ritsuko Shirahama: tokyo-mbfashionweek.com/en/the19th/tv/.
