Yana Galbshtein used the Marsh Arabs and endangered cultures as her inspiration. (The Marsh Arabs live in South-Iraq. Their semi-nomadic way of life has remained unchanged for 5000 years. Some believe they are directly descended from the Sumerian and Babylonian.)
