Vienna-based Callisti presents festive red carpet looks

Vienna is known for its balls and festive events. Ball gowns or cocktail dresses such as designed by Martina Müller-Callisti for her label Callisti are signature for the city's style which is derived from a mix of tradition and modern chic like the two piece outfit (on view on this page). The outfit has an over-seasonal appeal and resists the fast changes of common fashion.

The combination consists of a long skirt which is widened by a tulle-lower skirt; the upper fabric shows ribbon-like black and white horizontal stripes on silver-grey metallic ground. At the waist, the skirt is decorated with a black satin bow which matches the black sequin top.

For the calendar 2018: Soon - on 16 January, the new autumn/winter 2018 collection by Callisti will be presented by Mercedes-Benz and fashion magazine ELLE at MBFW in Berlin; details about location and time on daimler.com.
