Fashion illustrator Veronica Kemsky's view on the art inspired collection by Vika Smolyanitskaya during MBFWRussia

Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia publishes on mercedesbenzfashionweek.ru an extensive gallery with social media (Instagram #MBFWRussia) images of a five days (12 - 16 March) documentation of what happened at the runways, backstage, at events, pictures that show Moscow street styles and art works by international fashion illustrators.

One of the MBFWRussia illustrators is Veronica Kemsky who drew her impressions of selected street and runway looks such as one of the pieces (image right) from the show by Russian in Moscow based designer Vika Smolyanitskaya who is inspired for her colorful, lively and joyful fashion-like-art designs by street art seen in New York and Los Angeles and art works by Roy Lichtenstein and Marisol Escobar.

After the fashion week, the organizers counted over 30.000 photos on Instagram with hashtag #MBFWRussia. 'Digital Future: Technologies that Change the Fashion Industry' was also one of the themes which were discussed at the two-days conference 'Fashion Futurum' (1st, 2nd day) where speakers from all over the world threw light on fashion culture (business, museum exhibitions of fashion as art,...) and future developments.
