Aveda's creation of the natural long hairdo at Stella McCartney's Autumn 2014 show
In January 2014, Aveda sent some background information about the hairdo at Stella McCartney's Autumn 2014 presentation. The easy-to-make hairstyle is practical for the ones who wash their hair daily and take care of achieving a natural and healthy look.
Not only that the greasy-wet effect on some of the strands (from the middle to the end of the hair-strands) looks great - it benefits the hair's health at the same time. Aveda takes therefore the label's Dry Remedy Daily Moisturizing Oil. Aveda Global Creative Director Antoinette Beenders explains how to make it: drying the hair, twirling selected strands (photo below) and treating them with heat - this makes the natural waves; afterwards (for the final greasy-wet strands-effect), she used moisturizing oil.
