Video: Presentation of Maia Bergman's SS2013 collection in front of the jury consisting of H&M Creative Advisor Margareta van den Bosch, Style.com's Tim Blanks, designer Jonathan Saunders, etc. Maia Bergman is one of eight finalists of the H&M Award. The finalists were selected from works by students from 19 major fashion colleges in eight European countries.

...in water colors evoke the impression of sun reflections on the surface of clear, fresh water.

The pieces are from the SS2013 collection by Buenos Aires born in London based Maia Bergman (made her BA at Central Saint Martins).

The designer is one of the finalists of the H&M Design Award 2013. Maia Bergman speaks on the award's website about her inspirations (Versace, Stephen Sprouse) and her experimental approach to the cut of some of the pieces (such as the A-line dress below) to develop the pattern for one size that fits all.

On 29 January 2013, H&M will announce the winner of the Design Award 2013 at the Mercedes-Benz Stockholm Fashion Week. Users are invited to join the event via live-stream on designaward2013.hm.com/live-stream.
